Interior Design School - Interior Design Course at Bauder CollegePossessing natural creative abilities for interior design is one thing, but having a sound knowledge of the technical skills and techniques is another. Although it is important for a designer to become innovative with design concepts, it is just as important to become aware of the technical ideas in order for the designer to learn to apply their creativity in a certain framework that is agreeable with the industry standards of the design.

Program Objectives

The Interior Design Course is established to provide students interested in interior design training grounds on which they can hone their skills and knowledge in design, which will translate into a successful professional career after they graduate.

Admission Requirements

Acceptance to the program will require applicants to have graduated from high school or at least possess a General Education Development Certificate or equivalent. This, along with a $100 admission fee, will be submitted to the Admissions Office for the selection process. Prospective students may also be called in to complete an informational interview in order to determine how they approach design as a practice, which also bears weight in the selection process.

Credit transfer is possible in the program, although credits taken from educational institutions outside the country will have to be investigated by an evaluating agency in order to find out their equivalent credits in the U.S. Also, financial aids are offered in the college to help students deal with the academic fees.
